CMYK Gamut Simulator

Simulate physical pigment mixtures before press.

Standard computer monitors emit light (RGB), while paper printing absorbs light reflected by physical inks (CMYK). Colors that look hyper-saturated on screen often dull out when printed.

Use the sliders to mix print inks. The preview box simulates the shifting, matte gamut of coated paper, warning you when your digital selections represent colors that ink rollers simply cannot achieve.

Print Gamut Warning

This cyan-heavy mix is print-safe and converts accurately on standard ISO Coated presses.

Engine Specs

Built for designers who print, not just render.

Most editors lay out designs in raw web pixels. PrintFlow anchors everything in physical units, running background tests to keep your files production-safe.

Bleed & Safe Zone Guides

Visual guides protect your critical text from getting sliced off during high-volume mechanical guillotine trims. Enforces standard 3mm offsets.

Grid Snapping in Millimeters

Forget pixel approximations. Move text, tables, and images on a physical grid with snap tolerance. Perfect for envelope windows.

CMYK Gamut Compliance

Inspect your colors against dry toner and offset limits. Get instantly flagged when standard web RGBs drift into dull, muddy print out-of-gamut outputs.

DPI & Resolution Audit

Every embedded logo or barcode is inspected for print density. Get warnings for resolution values under 300 DPI to avoid fuzzy, pixelated assets.

Local IndexedDB Storage

All templates, custom branding presets, and action history remain completely on your machine. Zero server uploads needed to safeguard private letters.

Multi-Format Exports

Download raw layout JSONs to backup templates, or export pixel-perfect SVG vectors and PDF layouts mapped directly to real paper scale.

Answering print design mechanics

PrintFlow sets a fixed scaling ratio on the SVG canvas wrapper. For instance, at 100% zoom, 1 millimeter equals exactly 3.78 pixels (derived from the 96 DPI screen standard). Changing the page size recalculates these container bounds dynamically, while exports re-project coordinates into real physical SVG viewBox dimensions.

No. PrintFlow is designed to be local-first. We use IndexedDB directly inside your browser cache to persist custom templates, company details, history logs, and passwords (which are securely hashed via the WebCrypto API before writing). Your document layouts never leave your system unless you manually download them.

During print finishing, massive blades slice stacks of sheets down to trim size. If the blades deviate slightly, any background color that doesn't extend beyond the crop line leaves white margins. The "bleed line" extends elements 3mm outward to avoid this. Conversely, any layout element placed too close to the edge risks getting sliced off—the "safe margin" keeps your text 3–5mm inside the crop line.

Yes. The full editor supports SVG file imports. It parses the SVG child structures (lines, paths, rects, text) and scales them straight onto your canvas. When you are done drafting, you can export the workspace back into clean, unstyled vector files ready for Adobe Illustrator or commercial RIP processors.
